About the author

A.P. Vandy taught high school English Language Arts and Creative Writing for over 20+ years. He began pursuing his writing career full-time after moving to Hawaii in 2023.  

He resides in Hawaii with his wife, Shannon, of 30+ years, and his pug-mix, Zoey.  

 A.P. is an avid Science Fiction and Fantasy reader, which helped keep things light when he was reading ‘the classics.’ 

A.P. follows in the footsteps of his favorite writers and has titles in the production and planning stages that fall in these genres.

  He was born and raised in Oregon, which is the setting of his first two novels.
